Exodus 33:11 "and the Creator spoke to Moses face to
face as a man speaks to his friend,
and Moses turned again
into the camp; but his servant Joshua departed not from the
{ because the
moment was precious to Joshua }
{ "Joshua,
one in whom is the Spirit" Numbers 27:18 }
Exodus 33:18 "And Moses said, I beseech thee, show me
thy glory!"
{ Because what
had just happened was the Spirit speaking through; Joshua, to Moses }
{ And
Moses then wanted to experience the Creator more directly, and the Creator
replied; }
Exodus 33:20-23
"thou can not see my face.. thou shall see my back parts but my face shall not be
seen.."
In Exodus 33:20 through 34:5-8 Moses experiences the Creator
more directly.
{ And then
Moses asks; }
Exodus 34:9 "Oh Lord.. go
among us.. and pardon our sins" !
And Exodus 34:14 gives us a clue that the foreshadowing is
not over;
"For the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous
Creator"
In the Exodus account, the Spirit spoke through Joshua,
and in Numbers
of the Spirit speaking
through other people, and Joshua, gets.. Jealous!
Moses says these very words to Joshua;
"Are you jealous for my sake?
Would the Creator that all the Lords
people were prophets, and that the Lord would put His Spirit on them!"
Those who profess that the Messiah is to return,
do prophesy!
Those who have the word of the Messiah in their hearts, have
His Spirit in their hearts! [John 14:15-17, John 15:12]
