1 Thessalonians 4:1-3

Furthermore then we urge you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us

how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus [Acts 15:25-29]

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication. {Galatians 5:24}

1 Corinthians 10:27-28

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye desire to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat,

asking no question for (your) conscience sake.

But if any man says to you, This is offered in sacrifice to idols, eat it not, for his sake that told it to you,

and for (your) conscience sake;

1 Corinthians 10:20

the things that the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice unto devils and not to God.

Paul is referring directly to the Torah;

"And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils" Leviticus 17:7

"They sacrificed unto devils and not to God; unto gods whom they knew not (demons)" Deuteronomy 32:17

Paul is getting his information from scripture, from words already spoken.

I would not that ye have fellowship with demons. 1 Corinthians 10:20

Romans 14:14-15

I know and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus Christ, that there is nothing unclean of itself:

but to him that considers any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

But if thy brother be grieved by thy food, you are not walking in love,

Destroy not him with thy food for whom Christ died.

Again Paul is referring directly to words spoken;

"Not that which goes into mouth defiles a man;

but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man." Matthew 15:11 Mark 7:18-23

Therefore it should be clear also, that when Paul said;

1 Corinthians 16:22

'If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let that man be cursed, Oh Lord come!'

He was again referring to words already spoken;

"He that has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me" John 14:21

John 14:22-23

"Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us,

and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him;

If a man love me, he will keep my words:

and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."

1 Timothy 6:3-4

"If any man agree not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ,

and the doctrine that is according to godliness, he is proud knowing nothing"

2 John 1:9-10

"Whoever transgresses (disobeys the Torah 1 John 3:4) and abides not in the doctrine of Christ [Matt. 5:1 through 7:28]

has not God. Whoever abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither give him a greeting."
